Travis Klavohn is a benefits advisor and the Managing Partner of Klavohn Consulting.
Travis has over 20 years of experience in employee benefits, workforce management, data analytics, technology, and corporate strategy. Prior to Klavohn Consulting, Travis started and led a data analytics practice for Xerox Corporation which served fortune 100 clients. His prior professional experience includes stints at leading employee benefits consulting firms such as Aon Hewitt and leading insurance companies like Aetna and UnitedHealth Group. His clients have included consumers, small businesses, large corporations, and state governments.
Travis is widely published and is an accomplished public speaker. Travis obtained an MBA from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina.
Travis has a long track record of advocating for business owners and consumers for public policy which makes healthcare more affordable. In 2019, he successfully advocated for the passage of Senate Bill 18 (Direct Primary Care) in Georgia which allows patients to contract directly with physicians for lower costs. In 2009, he wrote the health care strategy for the State of Tennessee. In 2004, he successfully advocated for changes in North Carolina’s insurance regulations which allowed the sale of Health Savings Accounts to small employers.
